Welcome.

Exploring the regulation, activity and function of natural products in complex communities is the overarching research topic of the Collaborative Research Center 1127. For advances in medicine, biotechnology and ecology, insights into the mediators and regulation of multipartner interactions are urgently needed. Specifically, we aim to elucidate novel chemical mediators and targets that are involved in structuring complex communities and to understand the mechanisms that generate community structures and maintain their diversity. Our long-term perspective is the directed manipulation of complex biosystems using chemical mediators, including their metal complexes. › NEWS
